Although Rep. Ron Paul (R-Texas) is the GOP candidate currently polling around third in New Hampshire and second in Iowa, he has not been invited to a presidential-candidates forum hosted by the Republican Jewish Coalition on Wednesday, December 7th. The organization “rejects his misguided and extreme views, which are not representative of the Republican Party”, according to a statement in May from RJC Executive Director Matt Brooks. “He’s just so far outside of the mainstream of the Republican party and this organization,” Brooks said. Inviting Paul to attend would be “like inviting Barack Obama to speak.”

One is prompted to wonder (as with other similar incidents) how the forum might go if Rep. Ron Paul was among the invited guests and, for a refreshing change, granted equal camera and talk time?
