Overview

In essence, what we are witnessing right now is a new global war. Its not a physical war involving lead bullets and military might. Instead, it is a global economic war in which nations are firing financial bullets at their own currencies.

So far, China, Japan, Brazil, Korea and even the United States, just to name a few, have joined into the fight.

The U.S. knows that it’s consumers are just not ready to raise their consumption to a level that will spur real economic growth. So they are seeking to allow the dollar to fall even further which will make our exports more attractive to foreign consumers.
